If you would like to learn more about the animals or come for a visit, please put your name, email, a little information about yourself and what you would like to accomplish at the farm. Be it walking alpacas or purchasing handmade alpaca goods. All visits are by appointment only!
Farm Tours and Programmes
Experience 1. Introduction to Alpacas
This programme gives a twenty minute educational overview about alpacas.

The many activities we do beyond fibre processing.
Following the presentation you will have an opportunity to meet and mingle with the alpacas and learn about their individual characters and stories. This will include a farm tour. We end with a gathering for coffee/ tea and answer questions.
Time: One hour Cost per person : $20.00 Family groupings or maximum 5 participants if not a family grouping.

Alpaca Trekking This programme is not an option in inclement weather. (rain or heavy snow) Bookings for this activity are only offered on a Sunday.
Many of our alpacas are halter trained and we offer trekking experiences around the farm. You would be given an overview of alpaca behavior, a lesson on the training process and walking safely with an alpaca. You then hike with the alpaca around the outer perimeter of the farm as part of a farm tour. We end with a gathering for coffee. tea, and answer questions or share your experiences.

Time: One hour 30 minutes Cost : $45.00 per person Family groupings * Children under 12 free and must walk with an adult for the perimeter walk. Maximum 5 adult participants if not a family grouping.
B Alpaca Walking This program is not an option in inclement weather (rain or heavy snow)
This programme gives an educational overview of alpacas followed by a lesson on the training process and walking safely with an alpaca. Walking is done in a large enclosed pasture. Adults and children under 12 can walk with an alpaca independently. A studio tour is given to show how alpaca fleece is processed and made into many different products.
Time: One hour 15 minutes Cost: $35.00 per person Family groupings or maximum 5 participants if not in a family grouping.
Experience 3. Life Lessons Learned by Raising Alpacas
This programme gives a thirty minute presentation about life lessons learned through my experiences raising these amazing creatures. Following the presentation you will have an opportunity to meet and mingle with the alpacas. We will enjoy a beverage and answer questions to end the programme.
Time: One hour Cost: $25.00 per person Family groupings or maximum of 5 if not a family grouping.
Experience 4. Fibre Processing
The fibre that comes from the alpaca has many desirable qualities. This programme will demonstrate, through media, the shearing process. You will have a hands on opportunity to view some of our sheared fleeces . You will be able to experience the sorting process, carding process, and spinning of the carded fleece to make yarn. The programme is presented in the studio and you can view the alpacas in the field as you learn about their fibre. We end with a chance to mingle with the herd as we enjoy a coffee/tea and answer questions.
Time: One hour 30 minutes Cost: $40.00 per person Family groupings or maximum of 5 participants if not a family grouping.
